Welcome to Great Expectations. We are a professional whelping (birthing)
center and we specialize in puppy development for the competition
retriever. We have client puppies available year round and they have
some of the strongest pedigrees you will find. We also offer started,
finished and title dogs for sale on occasions.
All of the dogs are AKC registered and some are also registered UKC. Hip
and Eye guarantees are standard on puppies and parents have all or some
of the following health certificates:
Hip's
Eye's
Elbow's
Patella's
Heart
CNM
DNA
Most pups are Field Champion or master hunter sired and most females
have hunt test titles and have FC pedigrees. We have 1 personal litter
every year or so and we do offer a wait list for these breeding in
advance.
Our personal stud is Twin River Cold One MH, QAA He is a black lab male
that is yellow factored and his information can be found on the news
page of our website. His photos and pedigree are available to e-mail.
I am sorry for the inconvience but we no longer offer retriever training
to outside dogs. I highly recommend Kirk Wichman at hidden lake
retrievers in Anderson Texas and Pat McHale at Ridgewood Kennels in
