Welcome to Knight-n-Troll's Sleuth Hounds. We are located here in the Midwest, and offer exceptional Bloodhound Puppies for your next pet.. Our "Genepool" is excellent, and our litters show uniformity in our breeding. We have all colors present in our breeding stock, and generally have 3 litters per year; two are dual Pedigreed (ACA and APRI), and one is triple Pedigreed (AKC, ACA and APRI). Many of our puppies live here in Missouri, and the remainder live in 10 states outside of Missouri. Our puppies and adult dogs all live in our home and are "family members". They are extremely well socialized in every aspect, making for a smooth transition into your family when you come to take your puppy home with you.

To date, 1/3 of our puppies have been purchased for Search and Rescue Work, and the remainder for family pets. We are Ethical Breeders and offer a lifetime guarantee against Genetic Defects that would cause pain, harm, or other maladies to our puppies. Should this ever arise, our purchase contract defines precisely what is covered, and how the situation would be dealt with with respect to a full reimbursement or choice of another puppy from a current litter.

Prices vary from $500-750, depending on Pedigree Status and conformation; a $200 deposit (non-refundable) is required to hold a puppy until you pick the puppy up at 8 weeks or older. All Immunizations, Vaccinations and wormings are included in the pricing, and an Immunization record is given to you along with the Pedigrees of your puppy in a folder made especially for each puppy.

We do not ship any puppies due to health risks, but will be happy to hold the puppy for extra weeks (at no charge) until you are able to make arrangements to pick up your puppy. We do not Microchip, but rather recommend that you have a tattoo placed in your dog's ear at your own Veterinarian as this is the only absolute way to identify your puppy!

Once a deposit is made, we keep you updated with current puppy pictures until you arrive to take your puppy home with you. We feel that it is most important that the puppy and you have a good "match with each other", and do everything possible to make sure that this will occur when you pick a puppy from us. We are not raising "Showdogs", but rather wonderful pets and candidates for Search and Rescue since this is what Bloodhounds are actually intended for in the first place! There is no other nose comparable to that of a Bloodhound, and use of that nose is the most important feature with our dogs (remember, this feature is admissible in Court as Evidence) and NOT that they "multi-task".
