A local bird breeder that sells to the public and to local pet facilities. We have a closed aviary that is not open to the public for the well being of our birds. Our aviary is vet inspected and tested for optimal health for our birds twice a year or as needed. I have on sight on a regular basis a avian vet technician that works closely with an avian veterinarian who assist with any issues that may arise during the year. All birds are treated as needed and all precautions are taken to assure that we have healthy breeders in order to raise healthy babies.
All babies that are hatched her are parent raised until it is time to rehome them into our nursery to complete the needs that each baby requires. Only if necessary will babies be pulled for the well being of the baby and or parents. No babies are pulled before we see the need for future pet quality to be at its best. We feel that it is important to let the parents raise their chicks for as long as we can allow. To fulfill the needs of the parents to care for and raise their clutch on their own is an important part of natures course. It is important that the breeders know how to raise their clutch or they will not learn to be good parents to their young at later stages of growth. We pull what we need as pets and leave what we are going to use for breeders. We do not rush our birds to breed more than what should be allowed for healthy longevity of our birds.
I got into breeding for the love of the birds and each one of them is treated as a pet would be treated. I assure you that the work involved in raising birds is not money driven alone. In fact it takes a long time before you see the reward of riches from breeding and I have yet to still see it. I am thankful that what I do can bring me pleasure and joy and in hopes that we will pay for ourselves along the way.
All our babies are hand fed and hand raised in our nursery here on the premises. All birds that are taken to the nursery are socialized for pet quality. I feed and care for every baby that is hatched here personally. No babies are sold unweaned unless sold to an experienced source. Please do not ask to feed out your new pet unless you have documentation of proven experience as a hand feeder. I do not ship my birds out. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I can not control what happens to these birds when they leave here under such conditions. All birds are health guaranteed when they leave here and training to teach each individual how to care for their new pet to assure a wonderful experience for both owner and bird.
