We have been breeding quality Cocker Spaniels
since 1961. All of our puppies are Champion sired, with both
parents having current eye certifications. We annually certify
the eyes for all of our Cockers, in some cases 4 generations. We
breed Blacks, Buffs, Chocolates and Parti colors.
Cocker Spaniels have 15 hereditary eye problems, 3 which cause
blindness. Eye diseases are the most common health issue for
Cockers and all reputable breeders annually certify the eyes of
their dams and stud dogs prior to breeding. We also X-ray the
hips for hip dysplasia and have them evaluated by OFA. We are
members of the American Spaniel Club whose website gives
breeders guidelines (www.asc-cockerspaniel.org).
We consider good temperament as important as good health. All of
our Cockers are loving, friendly with children and strangers,
would never show aggression or bite. They love small children,
we have 8 grandchildren, and get along well with other dogs.
Our Cockers are very easy to train. They are very co-dependant
on their families. They just want to please and make you happy.
We have cockers that are in the show ring, obedience ring,
running agility trials, some are service/therapy dogs, others
live in nursing homes. A well bred Cocker Spaniel is a living
example of God's Unconditional Love.
